Hey, bookworms! The Year of the Indie Authors organization is on a mission to create Book Walk Days around the world. And guess what? We need YOUR help to make it happen!

Imagine a fun-filled day, where you get to explore your city and discover locations that inspired authors to write their books. How cool is that? We have already mapped out a walk in Austin's downtown section, marked by orange pins on the map, that will take you to these locations. And the best part? We're anticipating having authors present to discuss their books and give you a chance to purchase them on the spot!  Each walk can range from 1 - 5 miles long.

We're not just creating these Book Walk Days for fun. We want to turn them into fundraising events to help local libraries get more books into their system at an affordable rate. How awesome is that?

We're currently working with volunteers from all around the world to help us create these Book Walk Days. And we want YOU to be a part of it too!
